The Process – 6 Steps to a Professional Collaboration
Choosing a attorney in Zadar is a matter of trust.
The decisions you make with legal advice can affect your assets, your business, or your quality of life.
For that reason, I believe that a successful lawyer–client relationship should be based on clear communication and a shared understanding of the steps to be taken — in advance.
To begin with — here is more information about how our collaboration is established.
Instructions
First step: requesting legal advice
You may send an inquiry outlining the specific circumstances of your case and the objectives you wish to achieve by email to lucija@lucija.legal. Alternatively, we may arrange a telephone or online video consultation.
Review and assessment of the inquiry
I believe that no lawyer can act thoroughly across all areas of law, as each requires experience and continuous monitoring of legislation and case law. For that reason, I focus my practice on corporate law (company matters), law of obligations (contracts) and real estate law, where I can provide precise and reliable legal support. In matters I consider to fall outside these areas of practice, I refer clients to colleagues who specialise in those fields or have more extensive experience.
Follow-up communication
After reviewing your inquiry, I will respond, as a rule, within one business day. In most cases, my reply will include additional questions or requests for further information you have provided — all in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of your matter.
Written scope and fee assessment
Once I have thoroughly assessed the legal issues involved and the objective you wish to achieve, I will provide you with a written assessment. This will include an outline of the actions I consider necessary in your matter, as well as an estimate of the time required and the anticipated legal fees.
Acceptance of the assessment
Upon acceptance of the assessment, I will provide you with a Representation Agreement for signature, as well as a GDPR form and any other documentation required by law and administrative regulations prior to the commencement of work.
Legal advisory services / contract drafting / representation in court and administrative proceedings
Upon signing the Representation Agreement and submitting the other required documentation, I will commence work.
In all circumstances, my objective is to ensure that at every stage — both before and during our collaboration — you clearly understand what actions are being taken, why they are being taken, and the legal consequences of each decision.
An informative first step – no obligation.
Professional and thoughtful, Lucija helped me by advising on legal issues related to running a business where I previously did not have clear answers. We worked together on contracts and other related documentation to ensure that my vision for the future and the growth of my company is maintained, while remaining within the boundaries of what is legally permissible.
Lucija thinks strategically three steps ahead, while remaining very calm and patient. She is able to explain legally complex and highly specific matters in clear, simple language. Her extensive experience is evident—at our very first meeting, she pointed out issues I would never have considered on my own. Highly recommended for those who value a “human approach.”
In addition to a high level of expertise and legal knowledge, Lucija is particularly distinguished by her exceptional communication skills. Using clear and understandable terminology, she is able to explain in a straightforward way what a specific legal situation means—or may mean—for our company and all involved stakeholders. As a result, I always feel fully informed about what is happening and why. I also especially appreciate the clear transparency regarding costs.
